Attiny 13-20SI is a low-power consumption CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR enhanced
RISC architecture.
The AVR core combines rich instruction set with 32 general purpose working registers which are directly connected to the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU),
allowing two independent registers to be accessed in one single instruction executed in one clock cycle. As a result, the architecture is more code efficient while achieving
throughputs up to ten times faster than conventional CISC architecture.
The Attiny 13-20SI microcontroller is manufactured using Atmel’s high density non-volatile memory technology. The on-chip ISP Flash allows the program memory to be re-programmed in-system through the SPI serial interface using a conventional non-volatile memory programming device or with an on-chip boot code running on the AVR core. The Attiny 13-20SI AVR is supported by a complete set of program and system development tools including: C compilers, macro assemblers, program debuggers/simulators, in-circuit emulators, and Evaluation kits.
