Digital/analogue megger Mastech MS5202 is used to measure insulation resistance in the current-carrying elements of high-voltage power networks. The device meets the requirements of IEC1010-1 CAT II 5000V standard. The measurement results are shown by means of a big pointer indicator with a mirror scale meant for increasing of measurement accuracy. The digital display shows output voltage. Since the insulation resistance testing requires high voltage (up to 2,5 kV), the Mastech MS5202 uses a double confirmation system for test setup and control over operation.  The case of Digital/Analogue Insulation Tester MASTECH MS5202 is dampproof. The tester is powered from 8 x AA 1,5 V batteries and 1 x 6F22 9 V battery.
